Opening it the first time
First open: macOS blocks it (not notarized yet)
- Open the .pkg. macOS says it can't verify the developer. Click Done.
- System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ scroll down ▸ Open Anyway.
- If the app asks again on first launch, do the same once more.
Models
Nothing downloads on first launch. Each model downloads from Settings ▸ Models when you ask for it.

Claude features need Claude Code, Claude Desktop or an Anthropic API key.
Connect Claude
- Open Frameword → Connect Claude
- Click Connect Automatically. That's it: Claude Code sees frameword in every project
- Or by hand: copy the line (your key is already in it) and paste it into a terminal
- Ask: “Cut the ums and long pauses, add karaoke captions.”

Uninstall
Drag Frameword.app from Applications to the Trash. Downloaded models (Whisper Large v3 alone is 3.1 GB) and the projects Claude creates when no project is open live in ~/Library/Containers/com.frameword.app: move that folder to the Trash too to free the space, after copying out any of those projects you want to keep. Projects you saved elsewhere stay where they are.
